Climate and Related Resource Sites:

Map of Canadian Climate Zones
Map of Current Canadian Temperatures
Map of Current US Temperatures
Environment Canada Weatheroffice - This has been set to the Vancouver forecast, but can be reset for any Canadian location. A goldmine of information, it has links to climate histories and climate modelling.

New! Real time data from member's personal weatherstations - These weatherstations collect accurate data from specific locations and give valuable microclimate information for plant enthusiasts in the vicinity. At this point we have only one member (that we know about) that has such as station and he has generously allowed us to link to his site, below. We hope to add further links from members as this technology becomes more widely available (and drops in price!).

Blue Ridge, North Vancouver, BC

The main website that hosts these weatherstations is the Weatherunderground site , which contains advertising and leaves tracking cookies. The site will however allow access to all personal weatherstations from a menu at the left in the "Current Conditions" window. Near the bottom of this window is a drop down menu that allows you to select the source, including personal weatherstations (PWS).
